Relocated to Bangladesh post completion of her studies in India and founded her own dance academy, which was later renamed Rewaz Performers’ School

Choreographed the opening dance drama for the South Asian Games that took place in Bangladesh(2010), titled ‘Nacholer Rani’, which had a record 900 performers

Has received prestigious nationally recognized awards including UNESCO Cultural Award 2000, BACHSAS Award for Best Dancer in 2001, Television Audience Award for Best Dancer in 2003, Meril Prothom Alo Award for Best Dancer in 2006 amongst many more

Has acted in numerous television dramas and a number of critically and commercially acclaimed films including ‘Amar Achhe Jol’ and ‘Ghetu Putro Komola’, both directed by Bangladesh’s legendary writer-director Humayun Ahmed
